How to connect to a new network.

1. Forget the old network.
2. Follow the steps to connect to a new network.

How to draw an owl.

1. Draw a circle.
2. Draw the rest of the owl.

if i knew that I would need to reset the entire google home ecosystem device by device, i wouldn't have upgraded my wifi security. The fact that there isn't a global "home" wifipassword update is just laughable.

You guys really need to come up with an update that allows you to change the network Settings on the device without having to remove it from the app and then reinstall the damn device on the network. This is such a headache

This is the worst product experience I’ve seen in a long time. To have instructional videos that don’t resemble the actual product is insane.

We still here in 2023 and can’t switch WiFi networks on a Google nest audio? This is crazy …. Have to add it again as a new device

There is on option to change your network settings on the app. I have to physically go to each device to reset the wifi. I have over 10 nest items including exterior cameras, door bell cameras, smoke alarms etc. This is a real pain in the ass

This didn’t answer how to actually change the WiFi network as the title suggests. It showed how to forget a network and then “follow instructions elsewhere.”

So this doesn’t work. Even when ive connected it to the new wifi (according to the settings) it doesn’t work. How hard would it be to have a function to transfer all devices to a new network - YOU ARE GOOGLE MAKE IT HAPPEN

honestly google need to sort out the simple issue first. it shouldn't be so difficult to change wifi network. People change broadband providers all the time.
almost certain there is a security flaw here.

It’s 2023 and there is still no option to change Wi-Fi directly, you have to forget and re-add ALL your devices. I have 10 lights, speakers and a thermostat. Apple Home here I come!

3 years later... still no wifi update feature.

Like everyone else said, this feature only exists in some Google Fantasy. Had to readd everything, and now I can't get some devices to readd, like my lights. Time to switch to Alexa?

Google are you kidding! My Google Home app doesn’t have that many options and it definitely doesn’t have WIFI settings.

Why give instructions for non-existent options?
