How to Recharge the Air Conditioner on VW Jetta mk5 VW Golf MK5

In this video we are going to show you how to refill recharge the A/C System on a VW Golf MK5 and Jetta mk5. We demonstrated on a 2006 VW Jetta TDI however it will be very close procedure to recharge the air conditioner on a gas engine as well, the difference will be the a/c capacity which could be found on the bottom side of the hood. Depending on the model and the year some vehicles might have different capacity so check yours.

So many tutorials dont clarify the fact that when you put the can ON the port, the car needs to be off, and THEN start the car, and THEN the pressure will read correctly. If the right order isnt done, the pressure will read high and then people will think the pressure is high and take it to the shop.

Hello....I have a 2003 VW Passat and need to recharge my AC. I have a cowling cover all around the top of the engine so I am unsure where my AC port is...can you please help me with I have no AC blowing cold am just getting outside air or residual AC air that is not cool enough for these hot summer days now. Any help would be great appreciated.

i have a jetta 2009. the Ac take long time to cool. and when it dose its working and then stop cooling i add gas.
the fan is working.
