I totally agree the fx6 is a huge step from the s5, and it's a wonderful camera. I picked up the s5iix coming from an fx6 that collects dust now. I do enjoy the 6k open gate and other features. how do you thing the s5iix stacks up to the fx6 these days?

I have the GH5S and recently the sony A7IV. Thinking about adding the FX6. But it doesn't have ibis and my tamron 28-75mm F2.8 also doesn't have. So how is it shooting handheld with a lens without stabilisation? Mostly I will shoot on a tripod or the A7IV on a gimbal but sometimes there will be a situation that shooting FX6 handheld is needed. ANd which viewfinder to do you use on your fx6.was thinking about the zacuto z-finder.

You leave the Panasonic Ship when he got better . I wouldn't mind you go for fx3/fx6 before but now s5mk2 X is such a strong ratio quality price.
But i have to say there is something special in the image in fx6 footage.
Even if for me S1H has got the best"cinematic "quality in the image.
if had opportunity i would maybe choose SOny before.
But i have an S5 (gh5) and its a great value for the price and s5 II is the same thing but with better codecs and they finally correct the worst point of Any panasonic cameras from before : The autofocus.
If you wanna use FD / vintage / manual lens on an panasonic this is something that i still love more other than any brand.
now there is a lot of L mount lense with a great price so( it was also a weak point before, not a lot of L mount lens + high price) .
Just need a new S1H with internal ND + NEW AF tech and you got a great competitor in a more pro consumer level.
