Losing vertical resolution sucks. It’s best to get all that resolution for both anamorphic shooting and so you can crop for social media.

Yeah, I'd rather have the whole sensor. You can use the extra space for stabilization, or dozens of other things really.

Seems to only work with 6k and .avi format? Avi cannot be reproduced on mobiles, so you have to export the media first on a laptop? Meh
