I 100% have to agree with you on this. I went from a 670vs to a 750dp and created a traction problem for myself due to better bottom end power! Once I get my traction situation under control I will definitely improve my 60' times. The butt dyno tells me that!

Awesome Video. I love the carb stuff. I liked the way you explained also. Double Pumper ftw at track!

318 with a 2bbl carter here, a 750 VS with a adjustable qft, in parts on the shelf, cleaned and ready for the 318. unfortunatley no intake for the setup, hard to get one in germany without spending a pot of gold...

Great advice checking out Andy. Also Tall John's Fun Shop has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in dealing with carburetors. And by the way I Love PASTA!!

Thanks for the kind words! We are are the same page... Don't forget the amount of time it takes to dial in a vacuum secondary carb! Ive spent countless hours changing springs! It's all about picking the right carb for the job... I too like Lasagna! 😆 Great video

I always set up double on my engines, I only use AED carbs 750 HO HP is a good carburetor to start with.

Glad to see you like a good Holley bro! You mentioned 750, you try anything larger? If so, how did it work out?

Why did the factory used to run so many 2bbl on truck engines, was that for good working torque band?

Thanks for the video since I havent ran holleys yet . A person could put the secondary carb on car or truck for daily driving and swap out to the DP carb for racing ? 🔨🔨😂👍🏁 O check out my newest video . I got my air gap intake on the truck yesterday

Random question but I have a truck with a 727 the truck weighs approximately 5, 800lb it’s intended to be a street/strip build and I’m wondering what torque converter you would recommend.

Good video. One question though. In your experience. If you keep your foot out of it when cruising. Does a double pumper get as good mileage as a vacuum secondary carb? Thanks

I was running an airgap intake before because of listening to all write ups and forabodiesonly members. Then went to a Victor 340 single plane and it outperformed the airgap in the low mid and upper range! So it's better to try it vs just listen to all the write ups Nad opinions.
