50cc accel pump and 40 squirter helped my truck boogie. My truck is like 4600lbs on 35s though. Also, the street avenger is notoriously known to have a lean spot off idle because the IFRs are too small. Stock theyre .028 so you should reall drill them out to .032. Makes a huge difference

That's some good tuning tips and it won't take much more and you will have it screaming with the tap of the throttle and it will be a really fun truck that will suprise unsuspecting racer wannabes out on the street

Great tips on the Holley, I gave up on the old tired 750 double pumper on my demon, it was a mechanical secondary, probably good back in its day. I put on a new 650 AVS2 Eldelbrock, I love it so far, it has the annular boosters supposed to help with the air mixture. I've always been one of those Carter guy's love the AVS and Thermoquad's. I guess I'm just not good at tuning Holley's. Great tips thanks for sharing!

is that an air gap dual plane or air gap single plane ? if it's a dual plane put a 1" 4 hole spacer with a relief gap between the the plenum dividers on the 4 hole . if it's a single plane put a 1" spacer with a 4 leaf clover shaped center . I can send a pic of the spacer if your on Facebook or instgram ? it will help with throttle response and relieve the pressure from the pulses in the plenums

I seem to remember lotsa car guys complaining about the avenger. Some said the primary fuel block is not made correctly and the best way to make it a great carb is to replace it with a proform of Barry grant or some other aftermarket. Can anyone back this info up.
