Thanks for the clarification! As a protestant I was always told its either creationism or evolution. As I start going into the catholic faith I love how Catholics embrace science and see it as a way of how god works possibly works. Like you said evolution is strongly supported but it is a theory and so there is some holes in it.

Could you show me any scientific basis for the theory of evolution??
If you examine the geology of the Chinle Triassic Formation you can deduce the earth not millions, let alone billions, of years old.
This means the "theory" of evolution is utter poppycock.
There is no reason to disbelieve any line of scripture.
