Hi! Thank you very much for the informational video. I have one question about something you mentioned in the personal engagement section. Is secondary data really discouraged by the IB? I’ve seen lots of high-scoring IAs that use secondary data and I, myself, have started working on an IA about the correlation between GDP per capita and suicide rates (which requires secondary data). I’d love to hear your thoughts on this or if you could direct me to any IB guidelines regarding this, that’d be great. Thanks again!

Hi there, for my Maths IA I am studying the correlation between money spent by Premier League football clubs and where they finish in the league, and my only source of data is from online. Does this count as secondary data or is this ok with regards to personal engagement? I am taking all of this data and formulating my own graphs? Please let me know if this is secondary or primary data, and whether or not it would affect my marks. Best Regards.

What do you mean by “no Secondary Stats”? You stated this around the 3:55 mark
