How do you put money in the apple account?

I’ve never had issues with Apple card customer service as I can do everything from my iPhone. But I’m currently on hold with Goldman Sachs trying to verify my existing bank accounts so I can transfer funds between them and Apple savings.
Goldman Sach’s customer service line is worse than a Disneyland ride on July 4th… I was on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes before a GS rep picked up; she verified my SS/DOB and then transferred me towards their “verification specialist”. I was on hold another 29 minutes before they could even start the verification process.
I don’t blame the reps personally; they probably catch a lot of flack that should be aimed at the GS suits that won’t adequately staff their call center.

I'll put some money in the account as long as it has a good rate and the cash back from the credit card that was just sitting there when I bought a computer.

But it still won't make me use their card more. I have 5% cash back cards.

Simply a savings account. Nothing more. Lower the rate, money taken out.

Now here's the thing. Will you have to pay taxes on the interest you are getting from the apple points you're rolling over to the savings account? You're paying more in taxes because now you have to pay taxes on your points you rolling into the account. Otherwise than that this is a really good idea. A genius move.
