There isn't enough variation between the Macbook, the air and the pro anymore at all, they're very similar and it's disappointing to see from a company as influencial as apple.

If it's price was still around $1000, it would've been the perfect laptop for many people. But that price, it's completely unjustified for anyone.

I had a 2014 15'' retina mcbk pro and at almost 5 years old, it started to have major overheating problems causing the fan to turn off. I paid $400 to solve the issue, did not solve it long term.

In the end, I decided to opt for the mcbk air 13'' 256gb SSD and so far, it is a great, portable machine that is perfect for my university needs! People need to stop judging until they actually try it out.

I don’t see anything wrong with a 2-core MacBook Air, it is meant to be thin and have a battery last all day, but I would’ve liked to see a 4 core i5 and/or i7 processor. The 13” MacBook Pro is already pretty portable and more powerful, but only $100 more so it’s hard for me to justify the cost right now.

I love everything Apple Shown yesterday. The thing that threw me through a loop was the pricing. Its kinda all over the place and makes little sense between all the products. That new iPad though.... Wow

I’ve been needing a laptop as I am starting nursing school and really need something thin and light to carry around. This will make nursing school so much easier. Will be forever grateful!

I know that this new MacBook Air is way more better than the old MacBook Air. But, MacBook Air should be cheaper. At least stay in the previous $1000 price tag. BECAUSE if you wanna buy a MacBook with great specs, you have MacBook Pro, BUT if you just need to buy a cheap MacBook without insane specs, that should be MacBook Air. That’s why people still buy that $999 MacBook Air with hot garbage display.

Price is a big thing and the new MacBook Air is 20% pricier than the previous one.

I’m an IT student and I need a MacBook just to run Xcode. So I can learn making iOS apps. That’s where a cheap MacBook shines.

OK Jon... but it’s still overpriced if we are being honest. Looking forward to your take on the Mac Mini. I’m seeing there are no GPU options for that as well.
