I’m going dairy free for 30 days to see what it does for my skin. I’ve had the worst acne ever this year, and my suspicion is that it has to do with my comfort diet! See what cutting out dairy did to my skin — does it really help heal acne? Have you ever changed your diet for acne free skin? Let me know what you tried and what worked or didn’t!

If you’re looking for that extra push to cut out dairy, take a look into the dairy industry and the way they treat the cows. Truly scary stuff. I’ve been vegan/plant based for a year and a half and my skin has never been better.
Also try to cut sugar a few days before your period, it should help hugely with your cramps.

Having less dairy does help, but also having no processed foods. Drinking more water.
Also, could be the climate. I mean the smoke in the air where I'm at is making my skin dry/irritated. Be aware of weather/season changes.
Fun fact: i heard drinking dandelion root tea helps. It known to detox your liver and blood. And blood circulation does go to the face. Plus, it's a nice toasted, nutty taste. And I've added rosehip oil in my nighttime skin routine, and I've seeing a difference with my complexion. Acne scars are fading and no breakouts.

Also, Oat milk is so good!! I have a maple oat milk from TJ'S, it's so good in coffee or in tea that pairs well with maple.

Vegan mother here - it's not as hard nowadays to go vegan because there are so many companies making substitutes. So much easier than even 5 or 10 years ago! Keep going! It helps your energy, your nails, your heart, and your cholesterol too!

Congrats on your experiment! Cutting out dairy can be difficult in our cheese-loving society, but personally I found it was worth it!
I no longer bother with spending money on foundation to cover my skin...because it doesn't need it :)

I totally agree with you about Oat Milk. Having tried both Soya and Almond milks in coffee, the first curdled (every time) the latter tasted bitter. Oat Milk tastes wonderful and that includes on cereal and even my favourite spicy porridge, which I was going to give up.
I honestly can't tell the difference! 😋😉
