This is ludicrous! If republicans don't want to play by the same rules that we've always played by they don't get to play. You can't even have a serious sporting match without rules laid out in advance & adhered to by both sides. Who would let someone play that doesn't follow the rules? Nobody!

One thing can, in fact, save us. Criminalize the lobby and all campaign contributions beyond that of the individual voter's limit. Create a law enforcement agency that exclusively investigates this and other financial fraud committed by elected officials and prosecutes with extreme prejudice. When politicians have no financial gains from the position, only their reputation and place in history, then and only then, can America heal.

We need to get rid of the Electoral College and expand the United States Supreme Court!!

They need to talk about steps on how to demolish the electoral college, so the popular vote can finally choose.
Also.... after Trump and his republidiot need to VOTE them gone! So their vote NO in congress will have ZERO impact anymore

In addition to the points made about the current electoral system, which the founders couldn't have foretold, here is a brief example of how broken I think the system is: California has a population of 39 millions, and has the same number of senate seats as Wyoming which has less than 600, 000 people, or Alaska which has less than 800, 000 people! This means that California has two votes in the senate, while Wyoming and Alaska, with a total population of 1.4 million people, have four senate votes!
This is why Mitch McConnell can hold the majority of the population to ransom!
This is the reason the Supreme Court is composed as it is currently!
This is why the minority can impose their views, (for example, on women's rights), on the majority!
No matter how I look at that, it doesn't make sense!
