My sister had a friend that worked at the trade center. He never got breakfast but that day he decided to stop for a bagel. Literally saved his life.

One of my colleagues got up to go to work half way to work his dad called him said he was feeling unwell and needed him to come back as he thought he was having a heart attack. He turned back and went to see to his dad, his dads heart attack saved him that morning

I had a close friend in NYC for the Michael Jackson concert. She and her sister were supposed to be eating breakfast at the Eyes On The World restaurant (Eyes of the World?) At the top of one of the towers. They both overslept that day and didnt make it to breakfast, which saved their lives.

I watched from Bruckner Boulevard as the ONLY car on it headed north (or south). I was the first car turned away at the bridge. I didn't stop. I sobbed the entire drive back to CT. You were so blessed.

When I hear people's memories of 9/11, I think of the Pearl Harbor attack. My mom always told us exactly where she was and what she was doing when she heard about Pearl Harbor. People do the same with the 9/11 attacks.

Thank you for your recollections. I am sure the anniversaries cannot be easy. But neither can the memories you have everyday of 9/11.

God bless you Sir.

Amazing that people near the ground had no idea anything had happened.
