Thank you for bringing attention to this. The moment I began searching for resources on ADHD, my social media feeds became filled to the brim with ads for apps, courses, programs, and supplements all promising to recover my life from the ravages of ADHD. I would love a larger conversation in our community about the level of commercial predation by companies targeting people with ADHD. IT’s sickening.

Kudos for creating awareness about these apps 👍 In my case, the ads are focused on anxiety. The ads themselves, specifically the people (influencers?) featured, are almost an insult to those who actually struggle with mental health.

I'm being inundated with ads for Liven etc, what the heck, i don't have ADHD at all?! The ads all have the same text, but with different narrators. It's almost like people are buying a "kit" to create these ads.... it's so dumb. Sad to hear ppl are falling for it and good that you're bringing attention to it.

Thank you for confirming my doubts. As soon as I was 2 minutes into your video, I deleted the pitch that came to my email.

I had one that said they would prescribe me medicine. Charged me $80 and just sent me a copy of the questions I answered and at the bottom it said “you have ADHD”.

I do wonder if these are "plans" for managing ADHD generated by chat gpt and the subscription money is paying for the chat gpt subscription + profits for maybe the website operator.

Thanks for this (glad I checked before getting duped). I consider myself to be somewhat intelligent, but when you’re desperate for answers/help, you can do some silly things (especially when impulse control is an issue).

I saw an ad for wisey that i thought was advertising sun glasses that would maybe block stressful blue light or something, that led to a questionaire. I took a questionnaire and it asked for my email. Needless to say i was annoyed. CORPORATE MEMPHIS LOOKIN AHH CHARACTERS 😂

I took the quiz and I am very familiar with ADHD. I knew my quiz answers would not rank me very high…yet the results said I was extremely high on the spectrum….I knew something was wrong with this. It is a shame that you have to fact check 100% of everything that is presented because people are making money on our lack of self awareness and failure to research what we see.

I contacted liven about their adhd ‘quizzes’ as well as their unfounded claims of their product as a treatment for adhd. They said that they were not assessing people but helping them with ‘self discovery’, which means that they are encouraging people to diagnose themselves for using their quizzes which is very harmful. I think we need to start writing to papers and getting heavy on these apps as their advertising is unlawful as well as being harmful to public health

First one really talks about apps. Thats full of fake channels with AI reviews that claim to give "real reciews" while they reading all the same article with different voices. Thank you .

Yep, I just seen this wisey AD and went through the questions out of curiosity… At the end of it.. it was a 19.99 charge (didn’t put my card in) but looked mad sketchy.. bothers me because some might fall for it and the site claimed multiple psychologists would put together the plan 😢
