Just to be clear about the first tip: you don't have to lock the exposure you can just let the camera set the exposure based on the area you choose otherwise the camera will try to get the best exposure out of the entire frame

Thanks, I watch everything you post because even if I don't have what you are reviewing or Tutorializing, I still get useful information. Question, I see underwater videos that have sound. Does the onboard microphone record under water? I have not used it underwater so far.
I keep up with the latest and greatest drones, however, I don't try to keep up with the latest and greatest camera or phone. I haven't found anything newer than the Hero 9 to justify the price, at least in my mind. I get excellent results and good stabilization even when mounted on my Rad bike. Most of my Go Pro use is on a kayak, bike, or even drone so I leave the front camera off to save battery.

I hope you can answer this question. I plan on mounting my Hero 11 to an ATV and go out on some sand dunes. I'm afraid of fine sand getting into the mic holes and speaker holes underneath by the fingers. Do you think I can cover these holes with Scotch tape without the camera over heating? My thoughts are that it's ok because if I used the diving case, the holes are covered anyway.

Please do not believe this I just lost my Gopro after being used for the first time, i was walking in a pool and placed my arm under 20 cm of water it was dead right away and after plugging my Volta remote thinking its the battery it killed the Volta remote after it turned very hot 🔥 almost to catch fire, I wish I know how to share some pictures with you, but for real this is not a good choice, save your money, contacted Gopro and Best Buy Canada both said the same throw it in the garbage.
