What easily sells this for me are Chell's various looks of utter exasperation throughout XD You nailed her character perfectly and I could practically hear her thinking 'Is this _motherfucker_ for real right now?'

GLaDOS is one of those villains that are just such massive jerks that by all rights you should hate them, but they do it with such style/ sass that you love them anyways.





Apparently more than Chell’s parents loved her anyways. After all, why would GLaDOS lie about this? I mean she has been just the paragon of trustworthiness and probably couldn’t tell a lie even if she wanted too. I mean she is just SOO honest and kind to everyone.

Still salty about not getting the cake, although even if we did end up getting it GLaDOS would have either laced it with neurotoxin, or some experimental new drug that has equal chances of killing us, doing nothing or giving us superpowers.





Also somewhat relatedly, Autocorrect did NOT like Chell’s name and kept trying to change it to things like “a hells”. I find it fitting that 2 A.I apparently hate Chell
