I’ll admit i’m behind. Currently helping my friends business but having trouble getting another client. A great point you brought up was the timeline aspect of feeling behind. I think with every copywriting video, people think they have to be pulling 2-5k a month in a certain time frame. Which ultimately makes people think it doesn’t work and then give up. I’m starting to learn that it’s okay to be behind but still pushing and putting one foot forward in making this work. Keep up the content man, the mindset videos are key on making it in this.

it also depends on what and where are you getting informations from.If you have a right mentor and you're writing in your native language you can progress really quick.But again someone who puts 2 hours a day into this versus someone who puts 8 hours, its pretty obvious who's gonna progress faster.

I've been following this timeline without knowing it. In November, I got one-page website clients for $1750 each. I thought they were both going to become retainer clients. One of them probably will, but she's busy growing her brick and mortar start up. In due time, though.
Then, I was asked to join a mastermind and ended up converting the coach into my first retainer client at $500... for 4 emails a month. Anything more than that is discounted for a "first client appreciation" coupon, but my invoice is for the full cost ($1000). Here's why...
As a student of professional speakers, a mentor told me to invoice non-profits at full price for a speaking engagement. Then, discount the full price. I used the same strategy with my first retainer client as a way to prove that I'm worth the full price, the discount can be used for tax purposes, and work with my first ongoing client.
