Hi. I just subscribed to your channel! I did a rotation in ortho. It was interesting but, not for me. I've been a hospitalist PA for several years. Thanks for the informative video! I am curious though, can an orthopedic PA slightly adjust their own hours (like mon-thurs) or is it pretty standard to work mon-fri? Also, you said I think that 56% of PA's are on call but is this a choice; do you have the option to not be on call?

How big is the commitment difference between a PA school and training in med school and residency to be a ortho surgeon? I feel I’d love orthopedics but concerned about the time commitment of DO/MD. Is podiatry good?

How common is it to approach 200k as a PA? Does this require a lot of experience? Additionally, can a PA butyinto a surgical center?
