Why Did Darth Vader Sound Different to Anakin Skywalker? That's the question I answer in today's Star Wars short video!

Fun Fact to know. While Anakin was having the helmet put on him. You can hear Anakin say, “Padme, Help Me!” In a quiet raspy voice. It’s hard to hear, but if you listen closely. You can just hear how damaged his vocal chords were

Nice. I'm a bony nerd. (I used to be terribly thin!) I still can give a creditable rendition of James Earl Jones as Lord Vader.
As well as Emperor Palpatine, Master Yoda, et al. I do a flawlessly perfect David R Lentz, too!
Actually, I can sing soprano. Well, baritone-bass, too.
In truth, I urgently require vocal training.

What about at the end of ROTJ when Anakin has his helmet removed by Luke? His voice is not the same as Darth Vader’s in the slightest, and no breathing tides can be seen.

Hayden/Anakin literally does not have an American accent. He has a Canadian accent. He’s also from space. But regardless, anakin is space Canadian. Same way Maul, Kenobi, palps etc are space British.

And yes Americans, Scottish people are British. British doesn’t mean English. English means English. Scotland and wales are equally as British as England. There is no such thing as an English passport. No English embassy. Only British. UK is the country. Not england.
