Testing instructions:
5-panel drug screens typically test for 5 substances (marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiates, and amphetamines). There are two basic items involved in drug screening: the panel itself and the plastic cup for urine. Drug panels come as plastic squares with individual dipsticks for different drugs. These dipsticks are what will be placed in the urine sample. Submerge the panel into the plastic part (01:00). The urine sample will seep up the dipsticks and the results will appear in the windows above. Put the cap back on the panel and let it sit for about 1 minute. Don't throw the pee away yet! (01:35).

Test results appear in the individual windows as lines (02:10). The top line is the control line. If this line is present that means that the test is valid. If this line isn't present then you will need to retest. The bottom line is the test line. The presence of a bottom line means the test did not detect the specified substance. The absence of a bottom line means that the specified substance was present in the urine.
