Показать описание
In this video, we shall consider another method in solving differential Equations, we shall be looking at linear first order differential equations.
A Linear First Order Differential Equation is an equation of the form
dy/dx + p(x) = q(x), where both p and q are all functions of x.

Steps to solve Linear First Order ODE
1. Rearrange the DE in the form: dy/dx + p(x)y = q(x)
2. Find the integrating factor, u(x)
3. Solve for the general solution

When I used the Non Exact Diff Equa solving process, I found Y= 1/12((1/Xcube) + Xcube) for Particular solution.

hello, for the time stamp 5:50 wouldnt the integral of c be cx? and then we add another +c constant of integration? like if c is part of the formula wouldnt we integrate it as well?

for example 3, i don't understand how integral of tanx becomes sec x. for my working, i rewrite the tan x as sinx/cosx, and i got my answer as 1/cos x instead
