Learn how to solve the particular solution of differential equations. A differential equation is an equation that relates a function with its derivatives. The solution to a differential equation involves two parts: the general solution and the particular solution. The general solution gives the solution for the family of differential equations having similar attributes while the particular solution is the unique solution satisfying some particular conditions unique to the differential equation. The general solution comes with some constants while the particular solution involves the elimination of the constants. There are various types of differential equations and different methods of solving them including by direct integration, separating the variables, exact, homogeneous/inhomogeneous, etc.

This is super helpful! I'm struggling a bit still in understanding *why* a lot of the steps are being done. What shows you what need to be done in order to solve it? How is one to know the direction they need to be headed in terms of how they manipulate the equation?
