Best way to pass to other people as male and never get misgendered: Do what I did, just don’t talk to anyone and never leave your room! 👍

I think the hair reference thing is because when you ask for it the barber will NOT do it right.. I tried to and I just got a bobcut. once I started to cut my own hair I eventually achieved what I wanted..

I used a picture of Noah at a hairdressers once and they gave me an ATROCIOUS trim, I then showed that same picture of Noah to my friend and they gave me a great cut. It all depends on the whose cutting your hair, if they actually give you what you want, and the type of hair you have, I have quite thick hair so it worked👍

In my experience, as a 35yo who has barely had the chance to take testosterone (unfortunately), I feel like passing is more about how you dress and walk than anything else. Seriously, I have passed while 8 months pregnant. I was huge! But people still read me as a guy. I think people really over think passing, which I get since I do it too.

my #1 tip for passing is to stop caring about passing because it literally rots your brain. absolute brainworms you obsess over the most ridiculous things. just be you and stop caring about what other people think. you are you no matter what other people think. i promise, you feel way better and less dysphoric when you just stop caring

Trans woman here, so I won't be watching this one all the way through. But to any transmasc reading this: I love you and support you!

I'm gonna be real, passing pre-T as a trans man is really hard. If you do pass, you'll most likely be seen as a really young boy. I think passing tips are generally good, but most people won't really pass even with them. I know I didn't. I only started passing 100% after 7-8 months on T. For some guys it takes longer.

I think the things that will help you pass the most above all else are binding and your voice. Once your voice drops, you'll pretty much be at a point in your transition where even if you don't pass physically, once you speak, people will gender you properly.

I actually know the person who made the tiktok (We're on an art gc together) and he was very happy and excited when he saw you'd made a video on it! He was also very excited when he saw you like the video and so were the rest of us on the group chat (most of us are queer and listen to your music and/or watch you videos so it was really cool to see him being noticed). And again, as Noah said, Jack is a teenager, please do not hate him for any opinions, just give advice (like Noah did). Have a nice day everyone :D

Lmao the other day I passed twice out in public and usually that’s kinda rare for me. Cargo sweat pants + laced vans + hoodie :)

I've been out as nonbinary for 10 years and am finally getting top surgery at the end of the year. I cannot describe how excited I am to wear a t shirt and like how I look

As someone who's genderfluid, passing as a man is so hard, but I've found it doesnt matter how long your hair is, as long as its a stereotypically "masculine". And keep in mind, a lot of men with long hair get mistaken for women. But if you actually wanna have fun with your style, it's difficult because I love wearing colorful outfits and steretypical cis men, especially in communities where "gay=bad", dont wear colorful clothes. So its really also about being in a more welcoming community. Goodluck though, I also havent mastered passing.

My best pass tips from transmasc person pre-T:
- Skate shoes (don’t even need to elaborate, just skate shoes)
- cargo/workwear trousers
- speak less ‘up and down’ and try to be more monotone. It doesn’t matter that much but even small differences really help.

Can’t think of much more to add but these work well for me

re: guys with long hair always getting mistaken for girls — my dad has his hair long as well and this happens to him. he kind of understands my pain with misgendering because of it lmaooo
