Fortnite Battle Passes Are NO LONGER Exclusive & Will Come To The ITEM SHOP‼️🔥 (HUGE News)

This is absolutely crazy news. Essentially, battle passes are no longer exclusive... but they did specify that it is for FUTURE battle passes. I'm not even sure if it includes the current season or not. I explain everything in the video.

I think this is more because of the marvel season being next, and how people had wanted collab skins to not be battle pass exclusives

For those wondering, it's basically C5S4 and beyond that are affected by the battle pass changes, not C1S2 to Now

7:51 I honestly just found this change surprising. Since I’ve never cared about item exclusivity, I lean more towards being for it. I think this is good for the Marvel season coming up since that will definitely have a bunch of licensed Marvel characters.

Another thing that people are forgetting is that the battlepass is only 950 V-Bucks. Most shop items are around 1200 to 2000 v-bucks depending on the skin. The battlepass is still extremely worth the purchase for the amount of content you get.

This really sucks, makes sense to do for the upcoming marvel battle pass, but the biggest complaint on this topic is skins already lost to time, honestly this smacks both sides in the face

I like the idea of skins being obtainable if you happen to miss a season, but novelties like superlevel styles should be exclusive to the people who worked for them

I mean there is also the fact of the battle pass being 950 vs the 1500 to 2000 that the skins will probably be when they come our, you get it cheaper via the battlepass

IMO This is the worst solution that Epic could have come up with. By not adding the ability to buy old BP outfits it does nothing for those that joined later (e.g. when Zero Build was added or Season OG). On the other hand all future Battle Passes are now worth less than before. So, Epic is falling back on the old FOMO tactic by saying, "well... it might not come back, but it also might!" This just sucks all the way around. They should have either opened all BPs up or stayed quiet and done nothing.

People that want to feel special because they have an old BP skin just seems like a loser mentality. It hurts me in no way if someone wants to come to the game late and buy Darth Vader or whomever. If it makes them happy so be it. BP owners get the items at a discount while late buyers pay more for individual items so that they can enjoy something as well, that would be a win/win.

This isn't as big a change as i was hoping. 1. Old pass cosmetics are still locked forever and 2. There's no guarantee the cosmetics you want that you miss will even come out to the shop

I’ve been wanting them to let people finish old battle passes that they bought but didn’t complete and I feel like this is a step closer to that

I agree w u on how that system should go, personally I don’t mind this change but now that they did this being able to purchase any battle pass u played but didn’t complete or played during the season but didn’t buy the battle pass should most definitely be a thing.

Them adding bonus rewards is a huge slap in the face to players. Bonus and quest rewards are for those who grind and go beyond the normal amount of levels while a season is active and for them to just sell them in the shop later makes all the grinding invalidated. Bonus and quest rewards should not come to the shop.

Honestly I don't really care about rare stuff but the thing is annoying is that people are gonna have a huge flexing war about certain cosmetics not being rare and certain that are rare

I think the only reason they're doing this is because c5s4 is bassically all going to be collabs and they don't want another iron man situation

It's only for future battle passes everyone just watch the whole video and Tabor explains this big change for FUTURE battle passes to come to the shop after 18 months
