You should install the operating system on this M2 hard drive, which will make it much faster.

Thanks for the tip! My laptop came only with 256gb, 2 slots, decided to get a 1tb ssd to add on. More room for games, yay! Looks simple enough! :)

Hello! my laptop a msi leopard gl75 has indead an empty space that reads PCIE*4 SSD, but it lacks the black thingy connector that holds the ssd, what is the tecnical name of it? and where can I find it? does it requires soldering? (its about the thing that in your case reads NVME/SATA socket" connector" thanks in

Can I set it up where windows treats the new drive as part of the old drive instead of a separate new drive. Like a raid setup without having to reformat the boot drive and “start over”.

So can my 1tb c drive become a 3tb hard drive without having to wipe my laptops OS and drivers that are already on the c drive?

I hope my question makes sense lol.

Funny - I already know how to do this, but I get my new G66 today and the 2nd m.2 came in yesterday.

Hey! Great video! Is it possible to change the position between the disk that the laptop already had and the one that you added? Do you have to know before doing that?

I have a question, does the ssd appear as a separate drive or as an extension of your drive for example I have a 512gb ssd and I add another 512 will it show as 1tb or 2 separate 512’s?

Ah, so it indeed takes slightly more than just put the thing in. Thanks!
