Could it not be that those who are eating more meat have an associated highly affluent life n better health security as well as health home n environment. That could be a confounding factor to longevity.
More, how about the elevated acidosis burden incurred-on all body organs-by eating animal protein.

What's important is not to jump to conclusions based on a single study. Correlation does not mean causation, so we should instead see how these peoples diets vary in all aspects from one another and how their lifestyles and genetics play a role.

It may be that people have a series of mutations that cause them to be able to digest meat better in those areas, it may also be that those areas with greater access to animal products also have better access to medicine and thus live longer. Also not all animals products are made equal or used the same.

Due to the extreme variability in person to person all across the globe, we need more studies and more importantly: theories which propose actual effects on the biochemistry of people from their food intake that makes testable predictions we can use said data to justify or dispute.

Has the possibility of the correlation of affording meat and life expectancy been considered and ruled out in the study. The test may not have been controlled which could make it invalid. Even on a large scale. I do agree that eating meat is ridiculously important. But steak is expensive.
