Greetings everyone!
In this video I will be shortly covering the Russo Turkish Wars. Russia and Turkey went to war 12 times, and most of these wars resulted in favour of Russia, though Turks got a few wins here and there.

Like because few cover those wars. Russia-Turkish wars shaped the borders, and policies of huge areas from the Caucasus to the Balkans and Ukraine and Central Asia. Without knowledge about these wars, there is no understanding of what happens in Ukraine, CrimeaChechnia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, etc. today. A big chunk of human history remains in the blank spot. Thank you for your effort to present those wars. I just want to add that in 6th war Rusian troops reached far South.The Battle of Kozludzha (also known as the Battle of Kozluca), fought on 20 June (Old Style - June 9) 1774 near the village of Kozludzha (now Suvorovo, Bulgaria), was one of the final and decisive battles of the Russo-Turkish War (1768–74). This war was the reason for the fall of the Crimean khanate, which was annexed later.In absolutely the same manner as DNR and LNR today. That war and following wars resulted in ethnical cleansing and genocides of Chirkasians, Crimean and Nogai Tatars, Bulgarians and other ethnicities some were extinct completely.

Well if you looking at previous times before the Ottomans, Turks actually manage to keep under pressure Russians many years by Golden Horde and other tribal states. Also I admit that Russia cause so many issue for Ottomans but you don’t need to forget that Russia wasn’t only enemy for Ottomans and Russian lands never be priority, so that Turks didn’t give their attention in their golden ages because of different goals. In a conclusion its normal result for Turks if you consider they are already collapsing and losing power, if you ask me for these conditions actually its very disappointing results for Russian, you didn’t even manage to achieve your goals and collapse after the the Ottoman Empire.

10:08 Most people condsider it an ottoman victory, but Russia did not lose any teritories, completely destroyed the ottoman navy at synope, and only lost to the british and the french as they were scared of Russian domination.
