Klein 1/2' Brushless Compact Impact Wrench BAT20-CW Review and Demonstration

It's nice that it uses Dewalt batteries so that existing users don't have to invest in another battery platform. Then again, if someone already had Dewalt tools why wouldn't they just buy Dewalt's 1/2-inch drive compact impact wrench as it costs less than the Klein. I can only assume Klein went with a detent pin design because they've intended this tool to be used overhead for electrical work. Otherwise detent pin impact guns are strictly no bueno for most other folks. Friction ring is the preferred configuration for most folks. I noticed you didn't actually show when you swapped sockets. Can you just pull them off or do you need a punch to depress the detent pin?

I'm not surprised Klein introduced their own line of cordless drills but isn't this an area that Milwaukee and Dewalt already have locked up?

I do like those new Klein socket set. Pretty cool the drill and impact works on the dewalt batteries.

Do you know if the Klein 1/2 impact is smaller than the dewalt mid 1/2" impact. What's the (ft lbs) on the Klein 1/2" impact?

Those tools are sweet Bill. think they are mainly geared towards the linesman. I do wish Klein would make that same socket set in metric though.
