Finally! Someone who isn't a snob about instant coffee. I was raised on the stuff because it's what my grandpa always used. I never even learned how to use a coffeemaker or learned any other methods until I was an adult. Instant is my go-to because it's fast and easy and it reminds me of my grandpa.

Honestly instant coffee is what got me to start making coffee at home. Then I got eventually got a moka pot, and continued to explore. I mean, everyone starts somewhere and also nothing wrong with choosing what fits into your current lifestyle.

Plus these days instant coffee is getting better and better. Many coffee snobs who look down on people are just pretentious to make themselves feel better. So glad to hear some down to earth coffee lovers sharing their opinion.

Thank you for not shaming instant coffee. Yes, most of the time I grind and brew fresh coffee, but sometimes instant fits better in my life

During Covid I just mixed it by hand with a fork until it looked like peanut butter. I had that kind of time back then.

Maxwell House has some instant coffee packets and when I was homeless, it was one of my only comforts. People really just yuck any yum they can on here. Bless you. ❤

Because of you, I have completely changed the way I make my instant coffee at home.

Speaking of frothed coffee, in Italy we have something called "crema di caffè" which is nearly frozen coffee creme. It's extremely refreshing and is usually served in an espresso glass/shot glass. (Although I want a whole pint of that).
