The creator is a nepotism baby since his dad is one of the OG writers at LucasFilms. They just let him down gently and he's going around coping and telling people that he's not actually canceled. The same creator also created the bomb that is Solo and has said that a Solo sequel is in the works and that's been going on for 5 years.

They just don't tell him his shit stinks and he takes it to mean that he's actually hot shit.

I remember a time when if something was cancelled the cast and crew along with the press and the network would come right out and admit it. Sure if it had a strong fan base they would fight for renewal but those efforts would always be hit or miss....mostly miss. Nowadays though the audience is the ones that admit the cold hard facts while the cast and crew and press are in cold hard denial despite all evidence pointing to the fact that said series was indeed cancelled.

We still love Warwick. He is Willow and will always be. He should have been the hero in his own story but they screwed him for ESG brownie points ignoring the fact that he represents a minority group which barely gets highlighted in Hollywood. Willow could have been a bad ass wizard and a wise teacher/sage/father figure to Elora but they made him barley able to wield any magic. Missed opportunity.

If they don't like the fact that their show got canned, welcome to the club.
Networks are infamous for canning shows with no explanation given. (The Rural Purge of the 1970's where Networks went through and canned every single Rural Show they had on the lineup, regardless of it if were successful or not) They should be glad that they know why Willow got canned, it didn't perform well enough for Disney. A lot of shows, truth never comes out or get canceled once they reach Syndication.

Geeky's completely right. As someone gay, it's pretty amusing having noticed that when a show is praissed for it's LGBT diversity, the LGBT representation is almost usually a lesbian couple.
If there is a gay couple, they tend to just get delegated to being parents without a love life. How very diverse, lol.

Literally nobody asked for a Willow show in the first place. I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea. The identity politics is what killed it. Wokeness pretty much destroys everything.
