Can’t say I’m surprised at this news. I feel for Warwick Davis, because, as another commented, he ‘deserved better.’ Warwick was amazing in the film, and I never tire of watching it.

Some things should be left alone, Willow was one of those things.

I love Disney, Star Wars, LucasFilm, but feel saddened with the direction Disney is taking with so much of its content. Some of it is just not very good.

Companies need to evolve and expand, to survive and grow, but they also need to hold on to their core, remain true to what made them great, and so beloved by many.

I fear Disney is losing the magic!

It does felt nice having something different that is outside of Marvel and Star Wars. But the show felt like a chore to watch and the writing wasn't good. I watched the entire show and I don't know what was happening. I was so disappointed with the show because it had protential to be a good series on Disney Plus. I always find it weird that there were rock music in scenes and end credit scenes. Warwick Davis was the highlight of the show. And there were some characters that I liked and some not so much.

Well I'm still shock and was in denial at first because I too thought the series was headed for a renewal announcement at Star Wars celebration. However after finding out about Iger's announcement to rethink the movie and TV slate last week in wake of Antman 3's box office failure, it sucks that this looks to be a chain reaction affecting the lesser franchises.

I was never one to participate in those #saveourshow campaigns, but this one is hitting too hard that I can't let go yet. Honestly felt this was the closest thing to capturing the spirit of the original Star Wars trilogy that Disney made and it's also the only fantasy genre in the entire Disney library that isn't another disaster remake.

So I'm going to try and get as much people to contact Disney's official shop to release Willow merchandise and there is a method to this approach. Anyone who knows history knows DVD sales was what brought Family Guy back from the dead and merchandising is where the majority of Star Wars profits came from as well as aided to it's popularity and exposure. History can repeat itself, they just need to get that Willow merchandise out.

Anyone who cares about seeing a season 2 of this series, I suggest to contact the Disney official shop site and send in a request to make Willow merchandise. I checked and they only have a handful of merchandise from the 1988 movie. The 2022 series needs it's own merch line.

I do LOVE the flashback/haunted house theme they have in an episode where we suddenly witness previously unseen footage of Queen Bavmorda. CREEPY scene!! In some important ways, this series is more intense than the 1988 movie. That might have lost it some support, among steadfast fans of the movie.

I'm kind of sorry this series got cancelled. It would've been really interesting to see where this could've gone.

What a way? That’s a shame. It had potential to be so much better and it was definitely rough in a lot of parts. I really like the episode that had Christian Slater in it.

Disney Plus should focus more on their customers rather than canceling shows.

The show was terrible and mediocre and Warwick Davis deserved better. The younger cast also deserved better than this

I read that Jon Kasdan, one of the writers has stated the show is not cancelled, it's just on hiatus for now.

Disney need to spend top dollar on creative individuals that can put together a good show. The last good show on Disney Plus was The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

I'm sad, this has been cancelled. It was a great show, and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it came out when there were too many other shows.
