I really feel sorry for Warwick. He and some of the other original cast pushed so hard for a sequel but Disney had to assign idiots for writers, directors, and some of the actors who should have never been cast. Of what little I watched it seemed more like a YA show with Willow and others stuck in to prop that up. Much like Velma it had nothing to do with the actual source material.

What did they expect, they made a Willow series where "Willow" wasn't even the star of his own show and went diversity insane, and went for representation.

Basically the Disney bait and switch.

Maybe, just maybe Disney geniuses, people can cope with heroic male characters instead of LBQT plus characters everywhere...

The TV series was an insult to the original. Which had strong women and MEN...How controversial.

It was awful tbh. Even if you ignore the terrible direction, characters and writing. Warwick Davis himself was terrible in it too, with some of the worst acting I've ever seen. His delivery was like he just read the script for the first time. He's just not much of an actor any more. Even he couldn't save it.

Probably one of the worst Disney+ shows imo. Really bad from the episodes I watched anyway.

A Willow series wasn't a bad idea. The problem was WHO was behind the so called story.

I loved the original movie. As a kid it was my favorite live action fantasy movie. Nothing else compared. When I watched this series…….I just immediately knew that it had to be cancelled because it was just atrocious and a slap in the face to those who loved the original.

Seriously. This should have been an automatic SLAM DUNK. Keep the budget down, have fun adventures with Willow and keep wokeness out of it. But NOPE, they just like burning money and opportunity.

There have been other cancellations like the Dark Crystal series and minor kids shows like Ultra Violet and Black Scorpion, but this one definitely raised an eyebrow for me
