I am not against a Willow sequel, I just think it came out 10-15 years too late. Had it been released back then it would have had a jump start on other shows like Rings of Power and Game of Thrones. It would also had the luxury of riding the waves on Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings. Plus it would have had not only a fairy healthy Val Kilmer and it would have not had the whole Woke movement pushing it into the state it is in today.

One of the things that bugged me is them “hiding” Alora in the damn castle. When Alora was born did the old lady hide her in Bavmorda’s castle? No because it was too dangerous. Similarly if evil is coming then it’s going to likely raid the castle and kill everyone inside OR turn them all into stone like Bavmorda did. Well with Alora in the damn castle she would have been killed regardless.

Smart move would have been to send her away under an unassuming identity. But nope they are idiots.

Decided to watch willow and after 15 minutes in, I turned it OFF. It was Bad and my kids didn't like it as well. The New Disney way is NOT THE JEDI WAY.... who ever is in charge, Fire them...

I’m about done with Hollywood. It’s really rare they put out anything worth watching these days. It’s just gross. Every now and then there is a rare gem that surprises you. But even those are just eh. I have to say the only thing I’m enjoying at the moment is the sci-fi show The Expanse. A Diamond in the ruff! Entertainment just keeps going downhill.

No one with a brain takes the critic score into account anymore. They are completely disconnected from the fans and have been for near a decade or so. They will never admit when bad storytelling is there because they care more about keeping their jobs than doing them honestly and competently. As far as Willow being reduced to you seen what passes for writing in terms of anything tweaked for modern audiences?
