To everyone complaining how Dawn looks nothing like in the book; have a heart. The actor did not want to lug around a hunk of metal as tall as him. He'd have been like Siegfried from soul calibur.

I hope in the books that someone from House Dayne, some mysterious character we haven't heard of, arises and is worthy of wielding Dawn and then joins Jon or Daenarys.

House Dayne is so cool it's unreal. No wonder Ned was a fanboy.

Based on this, Ned went to ToJ then back to Kings Landing and then back down to Dorne to return Dawn (it says he took it back after Robert's coronation) which doesn't make sense while having his sister's bones and baby Jon around. I always assumed he went to Starfall straight from ToJ as it was closer and he probably needed provisions for baby Jon...
