You should check out Tim Wildsmith. He’s a Bible reviewer that review’s Bibles. Time to time he give’s away Bibles. Another person that you should check out is Disciple Dojo.

I wouldn’t call this an actual Translation of the Bible so much as a different presentation, but it’s called the Action Bible. I found it on a shelf one day and had to buy it. It is an abridged version of the Bible fully illustrated by some of the same artists who worked on Marvel back in the days. I don’t want people to fret when I say abridged - the creators knew they could not fully illustrated and include every chapter and verse, so they make a point of including annotations that draw people to their preferred Translation for ‘the rest of the story’ as you go through. But, it is a great way to engage younger readers, or just people who may have never gotten into reading the Bible before and are not sure how to get engaged.

NLT will always be my favorite, bc it is so easy to understand and it's wonderful for new Bible readers. MY second choice is the AMP. I have an NIV which was kinda ok, then onto a CSB, which was a little more likeable to me. I cannot read KJV, but this upcoming year, I think I am leaning towards NKJV.

AMP v. NASB was a real nailbiter. I like how AMP then came back into the picture out of nowhere.

Our church uses the NASB. My favorite translation is the CSB. My second is the NIV and third is NLT

Also finding a Bible with commentary or notes, devotions, ect…from someone you enjoy hearing preach, or teach and agree with helps a lot with studying the Bible no matter the translation it is. Or just a regular Bible with a good commentary. It never gets boring.

Loved this informative video! I found I totally agree with you, too! CSB is my favorite for two years now. I do love many others, though. How wonderful it is for me to compare them. Most of the people in my church seem to favor the ESV, but it just doesn't feel quite as comfortable for me to read as the CSB. This was such a fun video. Thank you. God bless you!

I just got the Amplified translation last week for 2025. But I’m loving my NASB translation that I got on Black Friday I’m not sure which I will use. But I loved your video and now I think I’m going with my NASB. Thank you so much.

My Top 5 Translations in Order... 1) CSB...2)NKJV...3)NLT...4) LSV(Literal Standard Version) 5) NASB2020... Outside of these Top 5 I have no negative issues or thoughts with the other translations since IT IS God's word... but these Top 5 speak differently to me in different ways and I Love having a top 5 that hits throughout the spectrum... You have a new suscriber and I like the vibe you presented with this presentation of the translation... but out of all of them(with the LSB being 1.b IMO) I got the CSB as my favorite... straight down the middle... easy to read... Bold text to reference OT... just wish they capitalized he/him when talking about the Lord... other then that... Thanks for the content and explaining to new believers what each translation does

I love the CSB & TPT. My church uses a lot of NASB & ESV. But we have rotational speakers but mostly I see NLT, NASB, ESV.

I didn’t even know about the CEB!

If I got another Bible for 2025 (haven’t chosen yet if I’m going to rebind my Bible or start fresh)….i would probably choose NASB.

It really depends on the individual on what they are needing in their current season….if you’re a teacher or note taker and love historical context…I would lean with NASB, ESV

From several comments you made on why you like different translations, I would like to humble suggest you try the Berean Standard Bible. It's a comfortable read like the CSB, but a bit more word for word like the ESV. It can be found freely online so you can compare it

In 1976 I left the KJV and moved to NASB. My next fave is ESV then NIV. My current NASB also has the Strong's concordance and within the text of the Scripture are the numbers at words for use of the Strong's. Thank you for sharing 🩷🙏🩷

I will Finnish reading the Bible for the first time in May. I have bought bibles on top of Bibles trying to figure out which one I should read. NLT, NET, and NKJ are my favorites.

I love this little game!!

I started reading the Bible cover to cover chronologically this year in the CSB. So I will continue in my CSB but I’m also replacing my Life Application Bible in the NLT for the large print version for next year. I recently bought a thin NASB large print to carry to church.

I hail from southern Mississippi, so naturally I was heavily inundated with KJV Only-ism for all of my God allotted life. However, after recently being delivered from over a decade of severe backsliding (all glory to our Rock!! ♡), I reembarked on a new Bible journey. I wanted to actually be edified from The Word, not to just merely recite Proverbs verses ad nauseam as I did in VBS (Ramblin’ Road Trip kid here xD). So I dove into my moms’ old Amplified Bible, & In doing so, I can say unequivocally that this translation has immensely changed my relationship with God. Before I was born again, I didn’t even remotely perceive or comprehend much of anything in The Word. But this… it just clicks with my brain so seamlessly, and the extra translations/exegesis which is implemented around The Scripture is so helpful for me. It’s like a mini Bible lesson to accompany our Beautiful Gods’ Word! I always pray for discernment though, and still refer to other translations to keep my mind healthy. But I always find myself returning to that Amp Bible. I’m just so thankful I was given a 2nd chance by Him to try to comprehend His Word before it was too late. I can’t wait to bow in His Courts, eternally praising Him & The Lamb, who selflessly absorbed the punishment I deserved for my wickedness to allow me to even be in the presence of Him when the time comes. I love you Jesus ~
