Oh, hey, it did work for me. I'm not even on windows, either. I thought the long file path thing was a general windows issue, but I guess not. Changing the project path to something on my main partition worked.
(Also, thanks for the video... and if you're still making these things in the future, for goodness sakes, remove that annoying music)

keep getting "failed to decompress" message : ( I think i'll just accept this program is trash and try Unreal. How can a program not work right from the start, this is ridiculous!

I just uninstall unity, cuz I'm always stuck on "resolving package" whenever i try to create new project using URP or HDRP. I'll it again and try this trick
