Ubisoft has an interesting situation on their hands with XDefiant. The community is starting to get upset due to certain decisions that have been recieved very poorly.

preseason feals like a early access/beta, should've just called this an early access game and not started doing seasons at all until the game is fully ready, but i guess they're punching a quarterly earnings timeclock with ubisoft

I don't know if anyone else has seen this but since the patch there has been a bug where mid game all of a sudden you wont be able to run or shoot basically anything besides walk. I've had it happen three times over the coarse of these couple days and my brother has had it happen twice to him as well.

I’m a new player and I can’t do a damn thing even in the welcome playlist. Every gun takes 5-6 shots to kill and I’m dying in 3. Idk what to do to make my weapons hit the same.

I understand your explanation that the preseason is long, but season 1 will be 3 months long and 1 new map every month, so will it be too long and boring for people? or not, because that will take even longer

This update has made me so mad. I don’t even want to grind mastery camos anymore. I don’t have time to play the game all day everyday so now that I have the battle pass done I have nothing to really grind for. I understand why they did this. Mastery camos are pretty much the only free skins you can get so making them harder to obtain will most likely lead to an increase in the purchasing of skins but man it’s still frustrating.

The hit detection has gotten much worse that I put five shots in an enemy and lose the battle! The TTK is much quicker than before. Also, the satisfying kill sound, streak sound is GONE! Probably not going to play XDefiant maybe until Season 1.

the 200 level is just bs, they should have just made levelling below level 50 like 25% faster

If this type of update is their idea of improving the game then I expect the game won't last long. Game devs still don't seem to understand that it's on them to meet expectations. I was hoping for great things with XDef but I'm more doubtful everyday.

Ubisoft lost me when they said jump shooting is a thing they will keep and want, and will create a skill gap. They made it so 4 jumps in a row affects your aim. This is like 5 year olds making the game thinking people jump around corners with pinpoint accuracy. How does jumping not make you completely miss everything. This game is becoming garbage and being made so 5 year olds like it.

Snipers and bunnyhopping doesn’t really affect me much. What I hate more is every YouTuber talking about huge patches and issues while the netcode and servers are still trash. This camo stuff is just a sidenote to me if I can’t even have 3 decent games in a row connection wise….
