Came here just to try to help others. Go to your settings, go under the passing settings and it will show you a bunch of auto movement defensive settings. Turn every single one on. I'm playing as Illinois in my dynasty. Ratings wise my defense should be decent. But we keep giving up 30 pts a game and get torched in the passing game. We are solid stopping the run. It's so frustrating having the opposition in 3rd and long then they hit a 35 yrd dot down the seam. Or in press coverage against Michigan State....their wr trucked my db and was open for a bomb on a streak. It's like defense is rng'us.
Will try shading....being a casual football person this should help. I don't know what adjustments to make. With that said most of the time the ai doesn't give you enough time to set up things like the Mable coverage. They run no huddle or just snap the ball so quickly.

My problem is players not going to their zone. I'm constantly having receivers wide open down field cause the safety running with a receiver like they're in man instead of going to their zone which was exactly where the receiver catches it. And it's not like its a long play, coverage breaks down. It's immediately after the snap they choose a receiver to follow in the opposite direction of their zone

nah cover 2 man definitely does not work on heisman. idk if the high difficulty just cheats by making my safeties play terrible deep half zones or what but i'll be playing fcs teams and watch them burn my 90 ovr corners on the sideline with the safety nowhere to be found
