What a long video to basically say:

1) Yes, it is worth replacing your battery; and
2) As a general rule, replace your battery when its health is between 85%-80% or lower.

Ppl with battery health 80-85% saying I need to replace the battery .. while I’m out here with an iPhone 7 on 50% health not even caring 😀

My 11 went from lasting me all day with heavy usage, to being at 40% after 3-4 hours. I love this phone 😭 Best iphone ive ever had imo

Good video, but too much echo and reflection in the room, just a FYI. The value depends on whom you ask. Newer generation would prefer new phone while GenX crowd may say they would like to retain the older model. For me, my 6S Plus in hand would carry a value of $1200 (price of the new 13/14 Pro/max or whatever) regardless of what the market values it at.

Great video. I'm going to replace the battery in mine and hold out for the next model release. Right now I have an se and I'm looking forward to face unlock with a mask.

A few months ago I broke my iPhone 7 and my mom let me have her old iPhone 7 so I use that now. It has a very crappy battery(73% capacity) and honestly idk if I should just replace the battery or get a new phone. Now even if I wanted a new phone I probably won’t be able to get one anytime soon. To put in perspective to how crappy the battery is on my phone, if I don’t use low battery mode, my battery starts going down 1% every 15 seconds 😅

Good video! I was very interested in when you should replace the battery. You gave the numbers I was looking at. I've had my Iphone7 for almost 29 months and battery health is 86 percent maxium capacity. It's working fine now. Once it gets below 80 percent I will definitely consider it. I am traveling overseas next year in August and having an iphone working at its optimum is important. I have to show apps at the airport so you need a phone that is working well.

I had mine replaced at an Apple Store on an 11 pro max and it’s great.

No more lagging when typing and scrolling and no more dropping from 30 to 2% in 15 minutes.

I was at 77%

If you consider it, in my eyes it’s worth it, it’s almost 4 years old and now I know I won’t upgrade before a few years

Thanks for the video! My 6s is starting to lose its legs in terms of the battery life and max capacity is 86%. I have no problems with the phone whatsoever and get along great with it. It has served me well for about 5 years now and I think it’s time for a new battery. I don’t feel the need to replace the phone so I’m glad this is an option

Thanks sir Daniel. What non-Apple branded brand replacement do you recommend that's quality but hopefully not that expensive?

God bless.

I want to buy an iPhone 8+ second hand, and I hope you can help me, the guy said that he bought 6 months ago, also used, and the battery was replaced, and he used it just for phone calls, what do you think, should I buy it or I should look for another one? I heard that after a battery change is not too good.

I'm on the fence on replacing my iPhone 8 battery - but my "Battery Service" level says 57% of something crazy. Not sure I can handle the $ of adding new/upgraded phone to bill right now so may risk battery vs upgrade. Fingers crossed it pans out and not a waste of 70$.

I have my iPhone SE for 4, 5 years already (no other phone I have had for this long) and the battery health is 82%. The phone is really performing a bit slower and won’t last more than half a day without charge. I have scheduled battery replacement in two days, can’t wait for it!
