I remember 2010 when removing battery was a very easy task

Excellent video. This is one way to stay ahead of the manufacturers that prefer that we buy another phone rather than just replace a worn out battery. Offering the tools to do so is just icing on the cake!

"...And then we just add a pinch of kosher salt and mix."

Oh wait, this *isn't* Binging with Babish?

Why am I watching when I don’t have an iPhone 11.

Compared to the iPhone 8 this is way more complex. It is true, the real yearly improvements are the added difficulties to changing yourself the phone’s battery

Great tutorial! Thanks! The only remark - while re-installing speaker 6:03, you don't need to put back one screw. It will fix later the big lower bracket 6:22.

Honestly, one would think that the designers purposely made it difficult to replace the battery. The very thing that is most likely to fail over time

This was really easy to follow! So I sent it to a shop to be repaired because it’s too much work for me

Despite what you’ve heard, replacing your iPhone battery is extremely easy. All you’ll need: a spent nuclear fusion rod, a single tear from the Virgin Mary, 5 circus monkeys, a current written statement of consent from Steve Jobs, at least 10 years of bomb disposal training, and a blood sacrifice to Cthulhu.

I have an 11 max pro. Will this tutorial be consistent regarding the steps it takes to replace my battery?

I love watching videos about fixing things and always learn something. Sometimes I learn how to fix something myself. Other times, like after watching this video, I learn that it's better, for me, to have it fixed by a professional.

Do I have to remove lower bracket? I mean speaker and taptic engine. It seems to be don't have to remove if I only replace battery

How are you able to do this with the new battery lock software Apple has in their update? For iPhone 8 models and up whenever i try to replace the battery i get a message in setting saying “This battery is not genuine” following by the percentage going down to 0% and the phone not charging then boot looping.
