Wow this shoe for $27 bucks hell of a deal, I thought I had a steal at $95. This is my 1 & only Converse shoe & I adored it the first time I cranked the speed lacing system around that Thick tongue. The first thing I noticed was tht comfortable inner foam lining but the second was how light these things felt for how much foam is packed into these, the heel counter is literally the cx foam midsole hugging the cup of your heel climbing up the back ankle also protecting the Achilles. The zoom unit in these feels similar to that of the Zion 2s once fully broken in, if you remove the insoles you can feel it ever so slightly popping through the foam layer over the strobal, it’s 1 of the most responsive forefoot zoom setups I’ve experienced right below the GT Run / Kyrie infinity but right there with the Zion 2s. I think Nike / Converse did a hell of a job designing & creating this shoe for the player it’s most known for Shia Gilgeous Alexander. It’s essentially his signature shoe without having his name attached because it fits his explosive, cutting side-to-side jump out of the gym violently athletic, shooting guard somewhat similar to a Dwayne Wade defensive focused with an attack the rim mindset offensively.

I got these sneakers because of the price. In Canada, they were asking for $150 but after many weeks on the shelves, they went down to $75.

i was really intrigued by the design of these, but bounce and shock absorption is a must for me, and i only get like 1 shoe every 3 years, so i'll definitely have to see more shoes you review doc, thanks as always for your literally in-depth reviews

Also I’ve played with these outdoors a lot & the shock absorption in the heel is quite good the forefoot can get a bit raw I like to change into polyurethane insoles for outdoors gives me another layer of foam you can’t feel the zoom as well right under foot but it definitely feels a lot better during & after. The only issue I have with these is the outsole durability, the pattern is great but the rubber is softer & tackier definitely made more for indoor hardwood unless you can get the overseas model made with harder rubber.

so just got the lava/white colorway.
my feet are size 8.5-9 but damn this shoe is clunky and big. the shoes are listed as 9 US.
the fit was snug but the outside looks like a size 10-11 - Ronald Mcdonald feel
since it is wide, the shoes are great for guards-SFs with more lateral movements and yes dribbling.
more like kawhi & derozan playing styles - mid range, defensive mindset
the outersole has a good grip on wooden floors.
