Nike Blazer Mid 77 vs Converse Chuck 70 High Top Sneakers

So the Chuck Taylor high-tops and the Nike blazer mid 77 get a lot of love from a lot of people and they're probably the most popular sneakers on my channel. Because of this, I thought it would be fun to compare the two and talk about which pair is the best. I’m going to run through the differences, the pros and cons, and the sizing of each shoe so hopefully, it will help anyone out who is deciding between the two. I’ll also let you know which I would buy if I could only choose one and my reasons why.

They are both very versatile and simple sneakers that will go with pretty much anything, no matter what style you are into.

1974, I was 8 and had my first pair of Black Converse High Tops - I was King of the world. Wore them until they both had holes in the soles. I would put notebook paper in them in order to keep on wearing them, if my mom discovered holes in my socks when doing laundry that would have been the end of my beloved Cons. Walking home from school one day my Mom pulls up and I get in the car, she had just been at the school as they had called concerned that I needed shoes. I simply didn't want to let go of my favorite shoes. Next morning I woke up and there were a brand new pair of Black High Top Converse next to my bed. I cried, they had thrown my old ones away.

I’d argue neither of the shoes are made for comfort. It’s a more style driven agenda. They both have little sole cushioning

I use both for lifting, court sports, and fashion. I find that converse have better traction, the blazers are easier to clean, and both are perfectly fitting

i personally prefer the look of the blazer, and i prefer the regular all-star chuck taylor i just like the look of the 70 but still amazing shoes

I personally like Converse's style more, I find it a bit less streetwear. Anyways, despite I like both of them a lot, I cannot wear the Blazer because they're a bit too tight at the front part for me. In terms of versatility, the blazer mids in coconut milk are an off white alternative that may be a touch easier to style as it's unicolor all the way around. Great video as always!

I own blazers and your feet will get use to uncomfortable long walks, You can unlace 2 - 4 levels and loose every level and saggy lace the shoe (Hanging short untied lace) which makes it very easy to put on, and won't fall off easily. Blazers are super easy to clean, super durable, it is leather but they do not get creases, they get small shape deformations which is very cool. The sole and front part of the shoes are super durable, they don't get scratches or wear offs, just dirt and dust stains. Plus they look cool.

Chuck 70s are just an overall classic. They are way more comfortable than blazers and the regular chuck Taylor shoe. Super versatile and chucks can go with any and everything. I own about 7 pairs and I’ll continue to purchase chuck 70s.

Personally I'd roll with the Chucks, and that's not because I have anything against the Blazers. It's the fact that nowadays when I go searching for shoes, I look more for versatility and I don't feel like the Blazers can offer me that. With the Converse it feels easy to experiment with different styles all while being able to stick to my own.

It used to drive me mad lacing these shoes up to put on/off. I found some decent elastic laces and now slip them on and of with ease. They’re go to shoes now. Game changer for me 😂

I have just bought suede black blazer mid. So far loving its style and it felt comfy for shorter or midrange walks
