Miracles, Hurricane Damage and Hope

The verdict is out...only time will tell how much damage. Lawrence said this was our best bean crop ever, and well - this is the way of farming. It's been a hard year for so many and this year just keeps giving. Please keep everyone affected by Hurricane Helene in your prayers and below find some places to help. We appreciate you being here! My grandson passed away this morning after a battle with limphoma. I'll be sending a donation for your cause in the mountains of North Carolina. It will be in honor of Randy Baker.
He leaves his wife and two year old daughter.

My family and I lived for many years in Asheville, NC. One of my daughters was born there. I am heartbroken seeing the complete devastation and overwhelming sense of loss. Prayers for all. Please God, keep everyone safe and give them strength to move forward. Much love to all. God bless

I worked for a PA Dutch about 65 or 70 years ago and, when somebody would say "It's really comin' down, " he'd say "You ain't gotta worry less'n it starts goin' up." I've been praying for the people of TN and NC all day. I've been through a couple of floods and know, firsthand, what a mess they leave behind. Be safe, y'all. I'll be praying "til this mess is over.

We are and will be praying for all those who have been impacted by this storm. The impact of this horrible storm will be felt for many years to come. It will soon fade from the news cycle but not from the lives of those who live it on a daily basis so our prayers need to continue. Blessings all.

And here in Oklahoma we are still in drought conditions and have been for several months. We got about an inch of rain Sept 22nd, but too little too late as the saying goes. Some cattlemen have been feeding hay since July hoping for early Fall rain to have possibly a late cutting of hay. So praying for you in that direction for too much rain, and for us in this direction for not nearly enough.

We went through Katrina. The eye came right over us. Terrible experience. Dispersed people all over the United States. We were more fortunate than many but this entire area has been changed and many have never completely. There are so many needs and there will be many who will volunteer to assist. Blessings for all those people.
