Flite Test - H-Quad Multirotor - REVIEW

Показать описание
Multirotors can be very useful. Imagine a quad-copter combined with a big shelf. Meet the H-Quad. We didn't invent it, but Josh Bixler sure built a good one. It's not quite as aerobatic as an 'X' or '+' quad, however... it sure can haul a lot of FPV crap! Functional multirotors are gaining popularity, so we were certain this would be a worth while build.

This heavy lifter has lots of space and a great layout to get your camera gear way out front.

Enjoy this entertaining review of our scratch built H-Quad.

There are two antennas on the ground station, one is a skew planar and the other is a bow-tie. It's our general purpose ground station.

If you're asking what I think you're asking, then yes, the quad, with a KK board will continue to fly in that direction. If you're wanting the quad to level out on it's own after returning the stick to center, you'll need a board that has an auto-level feature. The newer KK 2.0 w/ LCD board HK now sells has this feature. I've heard the 2.1 boards can be hacked to include an accelerometer though. . .

@time 2:48 by looks of the propeller setup, propeller setup opposite to X Quad setup its not similar as claimed in the video. In the video, Front Right Prop is CW where as for a X Qaud front right Prop is always CCW in Mission planner.

This way we have a ground station ready to go regardless of the antenna we're using on the aircraft at the time.

Static gets you most of the way there. Multicopters are more sensitive to vibration than planes.

you dont need to flash the board to make it fly in X mode, all you need is an elevon mix on the radio and orient the control board 45 deg so it still points to motor 1. that's how i fly mine, and it works great.
