7 years down the road and you can purchase off the shelf a " quadcopter " that is way better in every way than the ones from 2013. You all were the pioneers in this field and we all owe you a great debt for that. For all of the hard work, trial and error and of course the engineering that went into these rc contraptions. So thank you boys ...thank you.

The services we provided for this short film were donated. Jeremy is a friend and fellow hobbyist. Just like all of our projects... we were out having fun and sharing it with our viewers.

The battery was fully charged and only lasted about 25% of a normal battery. The low voltage alarm was set to 10.6V and "normally" gives me about 90 seconds to land. In this case it was less than 10 seconds. It was a bad battery that got thrown in the mix... I blame David ;)

To all those telling us how it should be done...we're waiting to see your videos.
In the meantime, these guys are ACTUALLY DOING IT.
And thank you for doing it guys.

What do you get when you combine a goofball who has a large collection of hats, with a really exceptional R/C pilot lacking hair, a foreign guy with an incredible wealth of information between his ears, and a business guru (with less than stellar flying skills, yet the financial assets to put it all together)? You get Flite Test. You have to respect the incredible amount of dedication and devotion these guys put into trying to keep you guys happy. We should all be more appreciative maybe?

Fantastic! Showing just one of the many new applications for these setups. This tech is giving amazing abilities to "low budget" operations like these film makers.

And for the safety-nuts, try being on a real movie set for a while, not just what they put on the blu-ray extras. Stuff goes "boom" and "crash" all the time.

Gread vid guys! Keep us updated on the short-film.

I thought I would never want a multi-rotor until I watch your videos. Beautiful shots! Makes me want to buy my first tri, quad, hex, or what-ever copter. :)
Rock on guys!

this is definitely my favorite out of your videos (except for maybe a few of the scratch builds)!! I found this really really helpful because it proved to me that your multi-rotors could be used for nice stable aerial shooting!! Thanx!! :D

The next challenge for you is to get a DSLR camera in the air. If you could make a multi-rotor capable of carrying a DSLR that would be so awesome!!!! Especially if it had a 3 axis gimble!!

You guys are getting great opportunities now! Definitely growing fast! Maybe all the support could've gone into you having more than one filming type multirotor rig? Or spares of some sort to get you out of that jam

Great video, nice to see the excellent coverage of the multicopters. I've been into building scatch built multirotors for several years now. You guys have helped me out more then once with your tips on the hobby. I love the piece you did with Fox News, great stuff. P.S. didn't realize you guys were neighbors.

But why did you use such an old GoPro? Wasn't there a newer model out? I mean, for a film...
