Thank you guys so much for Flite Test. RC Flight is a hobby that I have been wanting to get into for a very long time. Unfortunately in my area the hobby stores saw me as cash rather than a customer and tried to sell me on stuff that was way out of my league in price and learning curve. Thanks to you guys I now know I don't have to spend a few hundred on my first Tx, and a few hundred on my first plane. You make this hobby far less intimidating, and more approachable. Thanks again.

The series are great.  Josh, Josh, David, and Chad are interesting and informative to watch.  I have build several of their projects this winter.

Just ordered the quad...along with a few swappables and a fan-pack! Now I can rock the gremlin in new videos with a new FT quad!

Great video! Very good editing. You hardly notice most of the cutaways.

Ok quick tip in case you dont know. To trim your screws most popular wire strippers have holes around the pivot, so if you know your length you can screw them into the holes and cut them leaving no rough edges. Note: it can be tough to cut bigger screws.

I can't wait to see the floating camera rig! That looks great!

I wish you had these in stock, I'd buy a quad kit now!

I was right to be afraid. I was having very dramatic control issues until I realized I was getting a serious flex in the motor mounts at times. I moved the mounts inboard and mounted the motors directly to the booms and problem solved! Now it flies great and I just need to tweak my settings to get it more silky.

a tip to not lose orientation on a quad is to have different colors on the rotors. for example black on the two front and red on the two back. this also works on other multirotors

Doh, wish this video was up a couple weeks ago, when I built out my anycopter. Oh well, despite making some mistakes, it all came out right in the end. Now just waiting on all the electronics!

Thank you very much Chad! I could use a little help with choosing ESCs, and motors, and do I have to reprogram the ESCs?

Nicely done. Easy to follow. Paint the wood to keep it from warping?

FYI that servo you have sitting on table.. many people - myself included - have had the main output shaft shear. I have 2 of them, 1 is still fine in a 450 heli but I personally wouldn't trust it and will be changing that one out in the near future.

Dude I always felt tri copters were hard and intimidating to build but you make it look easy and give us a lot of information. Not Intimidated anymore. Think ill build this to fly this fall. Thanks Chad. Would love to see Bixler's Elaborate battery storage setup, through video or some pics at the end of one of your episodes???? Happy Flying Ibnair23

Just need to say, I posted a comment a while back which was negative, it seems that you did listen. In short i mentioned that your format was loosing its footing a bit. can i say that it seems that you guys seem so much better in the last few videos. Not sure if this was intentional or not, i would like to think i had some input (even though it is a very small point) into what has become a great show. Well done for staying grounded (sorry about the pun). Hope this made sense.
