Explination:

The continental airlines plane was taking off when it dropes something from it's engines, an L shaped peice of metal the size of a laptop (17' x 1') also shown in the video. The plane was ok. When airfrance 4590 (the concorde) came. It ran over the dropped peice of metal, sending rubber debris from the tires onto the underside of the left wing, the hot gases from the tires getting into the engines likely caused engine 1 and 2 to stall. The concorde crashed later on into a hotel and this flight is one of the reasons th concorde doesn't fly today

For those who don’t know the plane that took of first was an md-11 and when it already push throttle and something fell on the runway and it was metal and the second plane that took of was a Concorde and when the Concorde flew the metal thing got sucked in the engine bc the engines of the planes are very powerful and can suck a human or anything that’s not to heavy and when it hit the engine and the things and the machines inside the engine that makes it work broke and so which causes it to burn in flames so engine 1 was on fire but they already took off but couldn’t climb and is already descending fast and when it hit the ground it hit a motel and all the people on the plane died and some on ground hope that help pls give likes it took me long to make this ty

Just so you guys know, this Air France was the last Concorde, So Air France was taking off when another plane dropped a piece of metal when taking off, This Air France’s wheel hit that piece of metal and it had to take off, a few minutes after the pilots could not control the aircraft (never since they took off) then like 5 minutes into the flight there engine was smoking then they crashed into a hotel hoped this helped!

Some people don’t understand Concorde would of still been retired without having a crash. It was a plane mainly for businessmen to get to other cities such as NYC for meetings, yet be able to be back within a short period of time. It was also not fuel efficient, which was the main reason only 2 airlines operated it. If the crash didn’t happen it would only of lasted to about 2005-2006.

Air France flight 4590 crashed because the dc-10 (continental airlines) took off on the same runway of the Concorde but when taking off, the dc-10 lost a part off of it. And now Air France flight 4590 took off from the runway where the dc-10 was, as it started to take off, it hit the piece of the dc-10 and the rudder of one of the concordes landing gear came off and crashed into one of the concordes engines and it managed to takeoff but then the plane went very down and crashed into a hotel

For those who don’t know there was an MD-10 on the runway and it left some scrap continental airlines was the MD-10 anyway then after that ATC didn’t say anything about it because they didn’t see it because it was so tiny. There then came Air France flight 4590 and the clearnce for their takeoff was granted so they took off, but sadly it hit the engine and it caught on fire and crashed into a hotel secends, or minutes later it wasn’t that far sadly killing everyone on board

A dc10 lost a part while taking off.
The Concorde took off after the dc10. It rolled over the part wicj snapped it up into the fuel tank wich starzed leaking. The hot engine exhaust ignited the fuel and a fire started. The pilots already reached the v1 speed so they had to take off. The copilot shut down the engines without knowing that even a burning engine can produce thrust. Due to a heavy payload the two remaining engines couldnt hold the weight and the concorde crashed into a hotel killing over 200 people.
