Explanation: A mc donnel Douglas took off and dropped something like a collar. Then an airfrance Concorde took off the collar burst the tire and must have go into the fuel tank and burst it. The Concorde banked left and stalled causing it to crash into an airport hotel. The ATC watched as the tragic event happened. The clicked the red button then it warned the authorities to tell the the event is happening. The pilot tried to extinguish the fire but it didnt work so Rest there souls

Just an additional info. The crash of AFR 4590 is the only fatal accident of the Concorde throughout its entire service life. But this crash kinda exposed many, many design flaws of the Concorde, including, but not limited to, its tires being more susceptible to blowouts due to its high rotation speed during high-speed takeoff roll. Besides, this is the only crash of the Concorde that included loss of lives, so RIP to all of its occupants.

A metal strip had fallen off from an engine cowl of the DC-10 that took off from runway 26R, the same runway where AFR4590 took off. This wear strip had not been throughly checked and picked up by the airport maintenance crew because there already had been two maintenance checks on the airport on that day. Unfortunately, this wear strip, upon running over by the Concorde, punctured one of the tires in the left-hand bogie of the Concorde, which then caused the left-wing fuel tank to be ruptured by the shockwave caused by the flying debris of the burst tire. This has started the chain of events that we know today that caused the inevitable crash of the Concorde.

This crash only expedited the eventual demise of the Concorde, due to the fact that 9/11 attacks happened on the year following this crash, so you know where this goes...

In Airport 1975, the Beechcraft Barron that actually was involved in the mid air collision with the 747 about four years later it was involved in a mid air collision with the pilots died!!! The Boeing 707 was converted to freight and crashed in South America, where all the crew died!!

i saw a real concorde at air and space museum 6 out of 19 there used to be 20 but retired and the one you see in the video was the one that crashed i think air france was the creator of the concorde. Go to air and space mueseum in centreville virginia!
