The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Chronograph 232.30.46.51.01.001 features a 45.5mm stainless steel case surrounding a black dial on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding buckle. This Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean dive watch is an aggressively styled alternative to the Rolex Deepseas Sea-Dweller, and Omega's offering brings full chronograph capability to the table.

With a water resistance rating of 600 meters and a helium escape valve for saturation divers, the Planet Ocean Chronograph is suitable for use in all professional diving scenarios. A unidirectional dive bezel with ceramic insert adds to the functionality, and super luminova on the dial and bezel ensures legibility of the watch in the dark.

Omega includes a co-axial chronometer caliber 9300 chronograph movement. COSC chronometer certification combines with George Daniels' co-axial escapement technology for precision and reduced maintenance requirements. An Omega Si14 silicon hairspring ensures robust resistance to magnetism. The caliber 9300 boasts a 60-hour power reserve thanks to twin mainspring barrels in series.

The caliber 9300 also includes the refinement of a column wheel function selector with vertical clutch chronograph engagement. A full balance bridge with free sprung index contributes to shock resistance. Finally, the movement includes both hacking seconds (stop seconds) and a "time zone" feature that permits independent adjustment of the hour hand and date while traveling.

Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, helium release valve and chronograph. The watch also measures 19.4mm in thickness and 52mm from lug-to-lug.

Thanks for sharing, great review. Used to own the non chrono planet ocean 45.5. It truly was a beast. Super heavy, huge presence on the wrist. No way around it. I used to bang it again doorposts at least once a day. But it was real man's watch. Kind a miss it.

After wearing this beast for 4 days now, trust me just like that other review, this Omega 600 m Just ruins other is 125 per cent kick ass watch but again, be prepared all other watches feel like less quality, after wearing this incredible timepiece....
I do think, I would love 2 have the Omega Titanium blue dial in this 600m as well.
If you are on the fence about this beautiful Omega, by all means get one pre owned for about 5000.00
You will never look back.

A big part of the appeal of this watch to me is it’s chunky aesthetics, with the new SMP you basically have a thinner version of the PO. I’m sure this year or next Omega will introduce the chronograph versions. Glad there is something for everyone of varied tastes.

You have to love the PO. The best diver/reader friendly dial hands in the business- although the 300m skeleton hands are remarkably visible in all settings as well. Flowing case design, multiple finishing textures, dial coloration and tones spot on. Beautiful movement tec and great horologic history. Thanks Tim.

Hey great work! Just a Quick question! Why are you guys around 10-20 percent more expensive than other websites? Your prices are a little too steep for me. Your ck2998 is a good example... even the milgauss’... the Preowned omega seamaster 300m as well.. your prices are stupid... oh I forgot, , , your speedmaster trilogy.... is about 800 dollars too much..
