Hey John, nice runs 🤘🏻 I’m debating which route taking if going vortex standard or XL and especially which fueling mods (hpfp only, hpfp + LPFP, MPI + LPFP and last but not least if I go with WMI AWE V3) I don’t have access to E fuel… what would you do?! My guess would be XL+hpfp+WMI on 93 or 91 (maybe if I go with WMI it wouldn’t change anything to get tuned on 91 instead of 93… thank man! Sick setup 🤙🏻

I’m glad it runs good. But dyno numbers are so inconsistent. A friend showed me one time. Just holding his hand over the sensor made it read 30 more horsepower. They are more of a tuning tool. Quarter-mile times don’t lie.

It hurts that the cost of fueling these hybrids is so expensive… 🥵 Our little GTIs go from cheap speed to “Audi dollars” in a hurry once you move to a higher flowing LPFP, MPI and pro tunes… 💵 🇩🇪

This is what drives a lot of us to go IS38 with a HPFP and stay there.

No disrespect, btw. Do you have any videos of this thing spinning and eating on the street?

Thats nasty... honestly 93 you might as well just go full e85 it'll be safer at those power levels. Also reducing the power jn 1-3 gear you'll put the power down better and increase life span dramatically

Next year I’ll most likely be upgrading from my IS38 to a hybrid turbo setup. I’m currently IS38 on meth.

I’m not going with EQT for hybrid because the owner has rubbed me the wrong way, and has lied on the forums to save face, so he won’t be getting any of my business. The hybrid turbo options I’m lookin at are RX500/550, TPC20, or a Mabotech turbo (not sure yet).

Any idea on which turbo setup I should consider? Even any pros or cons you know of with these choices would help me out. Thanks.
